LARA ROSE TRAINING ACADEMY TERMS and CONDITIONS

By booking a course or purchasing products from Lara Rose Training Academy, you agree to the following terms and conditions.



BOOKING and PAYMENT

Deposits

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your place on any course
  • Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and confirmation email
  • Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances


Full Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before your course date
  • Failure to pay the balance may result in your place being given to another student, with no refund of the deposit


Payment Plans

  • Payment plans are available on request and must be agreed in writing before your course date
  • All instalments must be completed before your course begins
  • Missed or late payments may result in automatic cancellation with no refund


Klarna Payments

  • Klarna payment plans are subject to approval and Klarna's own terms and conditions
  • Late or missed Klarna payments may affect your credit rating and result in course cancellation




AGE REQUIREMENTS

You must meet the following minimum age requirements:

  • 16+ years: Beauty, nail, lash, and brow courses
  • 18+ years: Advanced treatments including microblading, microneedling, dermaplaning, BB Glow, and any treatments requiring skin penetration


Photo ID may be requested before training begins. If you do not meet age requirements, your booking will be cancelled with no refund.




CANCELLATIONS and RESCHEDULING

Cancellations by You

More than 14 days before the course date:

  • Deposit remains non-refundable
  • The remaining balance can be transferred to another course date within 6 months
  • £50 administration fee applies


14 days or less before the course date:

  • Full payment forfeited (deposit + balance)
  • No transfer to alternative dates
  • No refunds under any circumstances


Non-attendance:

  • Failure to attend for any reason (illness, emergency, transport issues) results in full loss of all payments
  • We strongly recommend taking out personal insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances


Rescheduling by You

  • Rescheduling requests must be made more than 14 days before your course date
  • £50 administration fee applies per reschedule
  • Subject to availability
  • Only one reschedule permitted per booking
  • Second reschedule requests will be treated as cancellations




CANCELLATIONS BY THE ACADEMY

If we must cancel or reschedule your course due to:

  • Tutor illness or emergency
  • Insufficient enrolment
  • Venue unavailability
  • Circumstances beyond our control


You will be offered:

  • Transfer to the next available course date at no extra cost, OR
  • Credit note valid for 6 months to use on any course


We will not provide:

  • Refunds for travel, accommodation, or other expenses
  • Compensation beyond course transfer or credit note


We will provide at least 7 days' notice where possible, though emergency cancellations may occur with less notice.




COURSE REQUIREMENTS and CONDUCT

What to Bring

  • Photo ID (if requested)
  • Notepad and pen
  • Comfortable clothing suitable for practical work
  • Any additional items specified in your pre-course email


Live Models and Where Required

  • Some courses require you to bring a live model
  • Model requirements will be specified in your booking confirmation
  • Failure to arrange a model may affect your ability to complete the course


Professional Conduct

  • Respectful behaviour towards trainers and fellow students is required at all times
  • Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the course with no refund
  • Mobile phones must be on silent during training
  • Arriving more than 30 minutes late may result in being unable to join the session




CERTIFICATION

Certificate Issuance


Certificates are issued only upon:

  • Full attendance for the entire course duration
  • Successful completion of practical assessments
  • Meeting the required standard as determined by your trainer


Additional Training

  • If you do not meet the required standard, additional training may be offered at extra cost
  • You will receive feedback and guidance on areas requiring improvement
  • Certificates cannot be issued until competency is demonstrated


Digital Certificates

  • All certificates are issued digitally via email within 7-14 days of course completion
  • Hard copy certificates are available for £9.99 + postage




INSURANCE AND LICENSING

Your Responsibility

  • You are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional insurance before treating paying clients
  • You are responsible for understanding and complying with local licensing requirements
  • We provide guidance on insurance and licensing, but cannot guarantee approval


Our CPD Accreditation

  • Our courses are CPD-accredited and accepted by major insurance providers
  • RSPH-approved training
  • Only council-licensed microblading academy in Rhondda Cynon Taff




EQUIPMENT AND KITS

Academy Courses

  • Professional kits are included where stated in course descriptions
  • Kit contents are subject to change based on product availability
  • Kits must be collected on the course completion day


Online Courses

  • Equipment is not included in online course fees
  • Full equipment lists are provided upon enrolment
  • 20% discount is available on Lara Rose-branded products




HEALTH AND SAFETY

Your Health

  • You must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or disabilities that may affect your ability to participate
  • If you are pregnant, we recommend consulting your GP before attending courses involving chemical products
  • We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe there is a health or safety risk


Allergies and Patch Tests

  • Some courses involve exposure to chemicals, adhesives, and pigments
  • Inform your trainer immediately if you experience any adverse reactions
  • We are not liable for allergic reactions




INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All course materials, videos, and training resources remain the intellectual property of Lara Rose Training Academy
  • You may not reproduce, share, or sell any course materials without written permission
  • Online course content is for your personal use only and may not be shared




PHOTOGRAPHY AND MARKETING

  • Photography and video may be taken during courses for training and marketing purposes
  • By attending, you consent to being photographed unless you opt out in writing before the course
  • You may request the removal of any images featuring you by contacting us




LIABILITY

Our Liability

  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury during training except where caused by our negligence
  • We are not liable for travel expenses, accommodation costs, or lost earnings if courses are cancelled or rescheduled
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the course fee paid



Your Liability

  • You are responsible for any damage to the academy's property, equipment, or premises
  • Costs for repairs or replacements will be charged to you




DATA PROTECTION

  • We collect and store your personal information in accordance with UK GDPR
  • Your data is used for course administration, certification, and marketing (if you opt in)
  • You have the right to request access to or deletion of your data

COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint about any aspect of your training:

  1. Contact us in writing within 7 days: info@lararosetrainingacademy.com
  2. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days
  3. We aim to resolve complaints within 14 days
  4. If we cannot resolve your complaint, we will explain why and discuss next steps




GENERAL

Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time
  • Changes will be posted on our website
  • Bookings made before changes will be subject to the terms at the time of booking


Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales


Severability

  • If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in full effect




SHOP PRODUCTS, SHIPPING, RETURNS and EXCHANGES

Shipping

UK Shipping Only

  • We currently ship within the United Kingdom only
  • Orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days of payment confirmation
  • Standard delivery: 3-5 working days from dispatch
  • You will receive tracking information via email once your order is dispatched


Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order value and destination
  • Free shipping may be available on orders over a specified amount (see website for current offers)


Delivery Address

  • Please ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout
  • We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by you
  • If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, re-shipping costs will apply



Returns and Exchanges

Faulty or Damaged Items

  • If you receive a faulty, damaged, or malfunctioning item, contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • We will arrange a replacement or full refund (including original shipping costs)
  • You must provide photographic evidence of the fault or damage
  • Return shipping costs will be covered by us for genuinely faulty items


Change of Mind Returns

  • Items can be returned within 14 days of delivery if you change your mind
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original sealed packaging
  • Original packaging must be intact with all seals, labels, and protective wrapping
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Refunds will be issued once we receive and inspect the returned item


Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened or used products cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons
  • Items with broken seals, damaged packaging, or showing signs of use will not be accepted
  • Custom or personalised items cannot be returned unless faulty



How to Return an Item

  1. Contact us first: Email info@lararosetrainingacademy.com within 14 days of delivery
  2. Provide details: Include your order number, reason for return, and photos (if faulty)
  3. Receive authorisation: Wait for our return authorisation before sending items back
  4. Return the item: Send to the address provided in our return authorisation email
  5. Refund processing: Refunds are processed within 7-14 days of receiving your return

Important: Do not return items without contacting us first. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.



Refunds

Refund Method

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout
  • Please allow 5-10 working days for refunds to appear in your account


Refund Amount

  • Faulty items: Full refund, including original shipping costs
  • Change of mind: Product cost only (shipping costs non-refundable)
  • Restocking fee: We do not charge restocking fees for eligible returns


Exclusions

  • Refunds will not be issued for items returned without authorisation
  • Opened, used, or damaged items (unless faulty on arrival) are not eligible for refund



Exchanges

  • If you wish to exchange an item for a different product, please contact us
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability
  • Exchange shipping costs are your responsibility unless the original item was faulty
  • Exchanges must meet the same return conditions (sealed, unopened packaging)



Lost or Damaged in Transit

  • If your order is lost or damaged during delivery, contact us immediately
  • We will work with the courier to resolve the issue
  • Replacements or refunds will be issued once the claim is confirmed
  • Please inspect your package upon delivery and report any visible damage to the courier



Student Discount

  • 20% discount is available to enrolled students on course-related products
  • Discount code provided upon enrolment
  • Discount cannot be combined with other offers unless specified
  • Valid on full-price items only


By completing your booking, making a purchase, and paying your deposit or order total, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
